New for 2026, our Solid SP Plinth.
If you are wanting to get into vintage gear, this is the perfect way to either start your journey into vinyl, or if you are of the type of person that likes to tinker and build/upgrade your turntable then what better way than an affordable custom hand made plinth at a crazy affordable price.

2025 we have been inundated with potential customers who want to get into vinyl and vintage audio but nothing we have is in their budget. We’ve turned away so many people, probably more than we’ve had customers who have purchased. So, we set out to build a plinth within a certain budget that we determined seemed to be in the middle price range of the budgets of those we have turned away. It’s been tough, because even the simplest of plinths can take 2-3 days to build, then you have materials on top so it’s not easy. We also factored in providing the best possible build quality and make a plinth within the same quality finish as our other offerings. It’s a great plinth to get you started, and there are options to add extra layers for more mass.
There are provisions to add aftermarket feet with either 6mm or 8mm threads, just let us know which you want when ordering by stating it on the order form.
It’s the perfect plinth to “tinker” with while you build and improve your system.

We use the same build method and materials as our more expensive offerings, it’s the way it is designed that enables us to offer it at such an amazing price, and there is no compromise on how it performs.

The main core of the plinth is layered MDF, then we use a cast acrylic top surface with satin finish in two tones, dark grey for the table side and jet black for the tonearm side.
Real wood veneers are used to finally wrap the plinth in for a perfect finish.
The arm panel on the plinth is substantially thick at 1” or 25mm thick.

Any tonearm can be mounted to this plinth of any length, be it 9” / 12” Transcription or linear.

At the moment only Technics SP10 models plinths are available but we are working on other models as we speak.

NOTES.

When ordering, don’t forget you can add an additional 25mm or 18mm layer for more mass from the menu, also, please state what thread you’d like for feet in the comments before payment and ask for a shipping quote before paying. Payment for shipping is paid for when the time comes to ship.

No feet are supplied with the plinth, you will need to purchase your own feet or we can offer you a set of our very own adjustable feet at a reduced price. (See other listings)
