Here we have Acoustands adjustable tonearm base that replaces your existing tonearm collar which allows on-the-fly micro adjustments of the Pivot to Spindle distance.

Not all tonearms will fit this collar.

It will fit any tonearm with the following criteria.

1. Any tonearm with a plain stem when the original collar is removed, example, Jelco, Ortofon, Audio
Technica etc.

2. Any tonearm stem that is 10mm to 24mm in diameter, below 24mm an additional inner collar will be provided.

Details to note.

Fits the standard SME mounting pattern.

Without the additional collar the base is 10mm high.

Any tonearm stem below 24mm will require the additional collar, with the additional collar, the base is 18mm high, which is around the same height as the large majority of tonearm collars that you are replacing this with.

Custom additional collars can be made to suit, for example, if you cannot go any higher than for example 15mm, then we can make a special one-off additional collar at no extra cost.

See our demonstration picture with a REGA RB-250 fitted to this base. This also means you can fit any of the plethora of Rega-based tonearms on this base to turntables previously used for SME.
